Serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Joe bootstrapped his first company, Heliostatix, while earning his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maryland. He sold Heliostatix to executives from a major pharmaceutical company shortly before coming to HBS. Joe went on to found new companies in biotech, real estate and healthcare. In 2021, Joe entered venture capital as the director of healthcare investment for Ligo Partners.
Previously a semi systematic trader with a focus on quantitative derivative trading strategies. James graduated from the University of Cambridge with a MSc in Chemistry having completed a exchange program at MIT. In addition to the financial acumen James acquired in public markets, James is an expert on creating value through marketing through prior experience, predominantly in the Web3 and fitness space. James now focuses primarily on entrepreneurship.
